Organic Amla Powder 175
Amla powder This powder is made from the fruit of the amalaki, also known as the Indian gooseberry or "the great rejuvenator". Amalaki has been a central component of Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. The plant is mainly cultivated in South East Asia, but is also found in some parts of East Africa and belongs to the spurge family. It is gluten-free and contains no artificial preservatives or colourings. Application of Amla powder External use of Amla: The powder can be mixed with liquid to form a paste, whereby a mixing ratio of 1:1 is recommended. For example, one tablespoon of Amla powder can be mixed with one tablespoon of water. This paste is then carefully massaged into the scalp. Leave on for around 15-20 minutes before rinsing out with a mild shampoo. For dry or brittle hair, coconut oil can be used instead of water. The same procedure can be used 2-3 times a week. Internal use of Amla: Amla powder can also be easily consumed in smoothies, shakes or mueslis as the fruity, bitter flavour of the berry is perfect. However, the daily amount should be between 2-5 grams, as excessive intake can lead to stomach acidity. The recommended daily intake of 2-5g should not be exceeded. Storage Store the powder in a dark and dry place to preserve it.Allergies May contain traces of soya, wheat and gluten. Organic certification CH-BIO-006
